| This is a Federal Work-Study Student Assistant position with IFAS Facilities Planning and Operations, providing support to the Warehouse Managers at UF/IFAS Main Campus. Duties will include, Efficiently loading/unloading materials, demonstrating strong organizational skills in warehouse management, performing detailed inventory assessments, accurately fulfilling warehouse orders, applying proper labeling techniques, utilizing technology for inventory management, coordinating delivery/pickup, operating machinery proficiently, conducting inventory audits, possess knowledge of building repair parts, communicate effectively, ensure a safe working environment, enhance warehouse operations through process efficiency, identify and implement improvements, attend to details, lift 50+ pounds, follow instructions, and provide support to warehouse and maintenance specialists.
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and will be employed through student Other Personnel Services (OPS) and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20 hours per week. |
