The Norman Fixel Institute of Neurological Diseases seeks a proactive, critical thinking and detail-oriented campus-wide Administrative Specialist, to manage broad operational activities for the Fixel Institute campus, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this pivotal role will serve as a senior designation overseeing complex administrative functions, often involving tasks requiring significant discretion, such as interpreting legal regulations, coordinating intricate administrative projects, and occasionally making decisions on the supervisor’s behalf. The Administrative Specialist will oversee all institute campus logistical management and provide comprehensive administrative support for a wide variety of institute-sponsored events. The Administrative Specialist will provide general campus office management, and calendar support for institute leadership and invited guests. This position will also handle special projects, file management, provide coordination of institute-sponsored conferences, think tanks and meetings.
