The Data Management Analyst II coordinates and supports major data-driven projects. The position develops and implements systematic approaches to acquiring, organizing, processing, analyzing, documenting, and delivering complex environmental and geospatial datasets.
The position compiles and harmonizes aerial and satellite imagery, LiDAR products, RECOVER MAP measurements, hydrologic datasets, fire-history information, vegetation datasets, field measurements, and other environmental data. The analyst will support spatial analysis, remote sensing, machine learning and statistical modeling, quality assurance/quality control, and development of reproducible data-management workflows.
Responsibilities also include generating and maintaining GIS and model-ready data products, documenting data sources and processing procedures, maintaining version control and metadata, preparing technical summaries and reports, and supporting delivery of project products. The analyst will work collaboratively with faculty, researchers, graduate students, and other technical staff. |
