Join Our Team as the Associate Director of Construction and Planning! Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for construction, facilities planning, and project management? IFAS Facilities Planning and Operations is seeking an Associate Director of Construction and Planning to help oversee statewide projects that support more than 1,300 facilities and 30 IFAS sites across Florida. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Director to manage and supervise construction and planning activities while directly leading a team of project managers. You’ll be responsible for budgets up to $7.5 million, developing project scopes, coordinating design and construction, and ensuring successful implementation through close-out and warranty follow-up. This leadership role also involves making recommendations on staffing and contracts, ensuring that UF/IFAS facilities are maintained and enhanced to support our teaching, research, and extension mission. The Bhaduri-McIntosh lab at the University of Florida, U.S.A. is seeking a motivated post-doctoral candidate to pursue research related to mechanisms of lytic reactivation of Epstein-Barr virus. This research combines standard molecular biology, immunology, genetic, and biochemical approaches as well as cutting edge approaches such as DNA fiber analysis, mass spectrometry, and iPOND.
