UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking a professional level Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join the Information Security Office a unit within UFIT. UF Information Technology (UFIT) enables teaching, learning, research, and service on campus and across the region with state-of-the-art enterprise IT systems, including SEC and SUS universities, and the opportunity to teach using HiPerGator. The IT Risk Analyst IV serves as a professional level position in Information Security, a unit within UF Information Technology (UFIT), and will support the university’s success through service and operational excellence. This senior role within the Information Assurance team of the Information Security Office is focused on conducting information security risk assessments, providing guidance and recommendations for secure implementation of technology and processes, and continuing improvement and development of the university’s risk assessment methodologies to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of UF data and information systems in compliance with law, regulations, policies, and standards at the University of Florida (UF). Additionally, the incumbent will serve as a subject matter expert in matters of information security, and provide advice, documentation, training and mentoring to junior staff.

The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge projects in cancer immunotherapy, with a focus on tumor immunology, immune evasion mechanisms, and the development of novel T cell- and antibody-based therapies for both solid tumors and hematological malignancies. The Lillian S. Wells Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Florida, College of Medicine is committed to providing comprehensive clinical services for the diagnosis, management, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients suffering from diseases of the brain, spinal cord, and nervous system, including brain tumors, aneurysms, stroke, epilepsy, functional disorders, and spinal disorders and injuries. Animal Care Operations Assistant Manager 11800000 - RE-ANIMAL CARE SERVICES Main Campus (Gainesville, FL)
The Animal Care Operations Assistant Manager assists in coordinating husbandry, cage wash and/or specialty operations for laboratory animal care in one or more areas or facilities managed by Animal Care Services under the guidance of a senior manager. Ensures regulatory compliance with all federal, state and local laws pertaining to assigned animal facilities. Provides direct supervision of assigned animal care technicians performing routine and non-routine procedures. Are assigned to weekend/holiday or on-call rosters.
Animal Care Technician III 11800000 - RE-ANIMAL CARE SERVICES Main Campus (Gainesville, FL)
The Animal Care Technician III provides specialized care and support functions for animals and animal facilities. Is responsible for overall care of animals and/or completes specialized activities such as administering oral medications, injections, specialized diets, etc. Completes ACT I and ACT II animal care duties and responsibilities including cage wash duties as directed by Operations Manager or their designee. Trains other Animal Care Technicians and /or investigative staff. All actions are completed by strictly and consistently following applicable ACS SOPs including safety procedures and policies. Reports any suspected or actual deviations to SOPs or non-routine situations immediately to Operations Manager or their designee. In absence of area manager may lead assigned personnel, assist in supervisor daily room checks, provide facility tours, animal order approval and supply ordering.

The Department of Neurosurgery is searching for an Assistant Scientist to join our translational cancer immunotherapy research team. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing projects focused on CAR T cell therapy and antibody-based strategies for glioblastoma and other cancers. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of laboratory research and clinical application, including support of active and planned clinical trial analyses.
