Responsibilities include overseeing the University of Florida’s compliance with the law; serving as the subject matter expert for the university enterprise regarding the ADA/504; developing and implementing enterprise-wide policy, providing guidance and trainings to the campus community regarding ADA matters, including digital and built accessibility, evaluating received employee accommodation requests through a robust interactive process, consulting with departments/units/colleges on ADA/504 related matters and providing input to university leadership and the Board of Trustees on accessibility trends, overseeing the design and implementation of targeted ADA/504 educational programs in coordination with relevant institutional partners, including but not limited to the Disability Resource Center (DRC), Ombuds, Academic Affairs, Planning, Design, and Construction (PDC), and the Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC).
