| The Clinical Research Office (CRO) in the Office of Research Affairs (ORA), College of
Medicine-Jacksonville, is looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator I to assist in coordinating, engaging, and performing research tasks. The CRC I will screen, consent patients, and conduct research visits as required by the research protocols. He/she will facilitate pre-study, site qualification, study initiation, and monitoring visits. Also, he/she will schedule research visits and procedures, collect, process, and ship lab specimens, and document where appropriate and as delegated by the investigator, per protocol/sponsor requirements. |

| A Clinical Research Nurse to help support Dr. Roussos-Ross’s research project, MOMitor. This will be done in close collaboration with our division research staff. The Clinical Research Nurse will communicate with patients, follow treatment algorithms, communicate with treating clinicians, schedule outpatient appointments. The Clinical Research Nurse will also assist physicians in obtaining and recording research data in conjunction with physicians and other professionals on the research team; interview subjects; enroll study subjects; review medical records; document research related findings and data in research forms and EMR. They will assist in planning nursing aspects of medical team research; write data collection tools. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of EMR, excel, and other data collection tools, work well in a team setting, recruit and enroll subjects in on-going clinical trials, coordinate history and physicals on clinical trial subjects, assist with continuing care of those subjects as well as maintain all regulatory and sponsor required documentation.
This position will cover the following (Citrus, Hernando, Marion and Sumter Counties) and thus will need a reliable mode of transportation and willingness to drive up to approximately 1 hour between clinical locations that will occur on weekdays. Some work will need to be in person in the counties assigned and some will be via telehealth/remote. |
