The RSA plays a crucial role in achieving Florida 4-H’s long-term objective of reaching 300,000 youth by 2030. The location for this position is negotiable within Flagler, Hernando, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Putnam, Seminole, St. Johns, Sumter, and Volusia counties based on office availability and input from IFAS Extension leadership. |

| The Department of Student Engagement, within the Division of Student Life, includes the Offices of Campus Engagement, Community & Belonging, Sorority & Fraternity Life, Student Legal Services, and Administrative Services. Student Engagement serves as a central hub for student leaders, student organizations, campus events, and a variety of programs and spaces that help students find and build community.
The Office of Campus Engagement is part of the Student Engagement team at the University of Florida and consists of the areas of Campus Events & Traditions and Student Government Advising & Operations. The Program Coordinator of Campus Events and Traditions provides direct advising, program management support, supervision, and assessment within a dynamic campus environment. This position serves students, student organizations, campus colleagues and partners, and ultimately the Division of Student Life. The University of Florida Division of Student Life champions meaningful experiences that foster community connection, career design and lifelong wellbeing.
The Program Coordinator described is primarily responsible for providing programming opportunities to university students. This role serves areas that enhance the student experience and provide a foundation of opportunities that enhance campus life. Main duties of this position include advising GatorNights, supporting the Signature Events program, and other administrative duties. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Campus Events and Traditions.
40 hours per week, with additional time required during peak periods such at the beginning and end of each semester. Frequent night and weekend hours are required. |
