The Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC) is part of the Division of Student Life. The Director of the CWC is a member of the Division of Student Life’s Leadership Team and reports to the Executive Director of the CWC. This role also serves on the CWC Leadership Team, ensuring alignment between the CWC, the Division of Student Life, and the Health & Wellbeing strategic plans. Additionally, the Director integrates divisional perspectives and priorities into all aspects of their work. The CWC Director oversees the leadership, supervision, and management of the Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC). This includes direct supervision of six Associate Directors. The Director is responsible for operational and strategic planning, policy development, direct counseling, crisis intervention, consultation, outreach services, quality control, and oversight of the professional training program. They also advocate for the department and ensure accountability. In collaboration with the Executive Director, the Director participates in the budgeting process and manages resources effectively. They establish parameters and expectations for staff decision-making, delegate tasks, assign objectives, and measure outcomes. The Director reports on key results, including student satisfaction, learning objectives, efficiency, impact, relevance, and alignment with institutional and divisional goals. The Director collaborates with various units within the Division of Student Life, campus agencies, and academic departments, fostering strong relationships with the Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education graduate training programs. They are also expected to engage in research or scholarly activities and may serve as clinical faculty affiliated with the Department of Psychology and/or Counselor Education. Additionally, the Director establishes the standards and expectations for how the Counseling and Wellness Center engages with other departments across campus.

The Research Administrator III position in the College of Medicine Jacksonville PEDSID will primarily provide administrative and research support for faculty and staff for all Pediatric Infectious Diseases NIH, FLDOH, Pharma grants and contracts. This is a highly responsible position that requires independent judgement and decision making to develop, coordinate, and ensure comprehensive and coordination of the sponsored programs federally funded financial budgets Pre and Post Award Research Administration functions. Functions for research include Contractual, Compliance including Risk Management, Budget preparation including Multi-year with F&A rate understanding and Cost Sharing commitments, Complex Clinical Trial agreements, Research Invoicing, and Financial management for Federal Grants, Contracts, and Industry trials for UFCARES programs. Independently handles all award-related transactions, including processing of all awards. Works closely with the Finance Manager, Research Director and P.I. to coordinate budgets, fee structures, and invoicing. Compiles and generates various billing logs and financial projections monthly.
