UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an entry-level IT Infrastructure Technician to join Infrastructure & Communication Technology (ICT), Facilities and Operations, a unit within UFIT.

The IT Infrastructure Technician serves as an entry level position in Infrastructure & Communication Technology (ICT), a unit within UF Information Technology (UFIT), and will support the university’s success through service and operational excellence. As part of ICT, this position supports and maintains moderately complex network systems. As part of the Data Center and Logistics team, they will troubleshoot, assist with the moves, add, and changes in the data center environment. Experience in troubleshooting network connection issues is key for the ability to support our networking infrastructure across campus. This position will plan and arrange projects, support, and maintain moderately complex network systems, and training responsibilities within the team. Additionally, this position will coordinate and facilitate receiving efforts with our IT Warehouse team, performing barcode scans of deliveries at the IT Warehouse or equipment prepared for issue by IT Warehouse Staff. |
