| The Department of Recreational Sports is currently looking for Lifeguards to join our energetic team and move Gators toward lifelong wellbeing! Lifeguards will be tasked with overseeing all water based activities and ensuring the safety of our members and guests. Duties at Lake Wauburg include monitoring boaters on the lake, operating a motorized rescue boat, and working equipment rental at the boathouse.
Successful candidates will begin work at the start of Fall 2025.

Massage Therapists at the Department of Recreational Sports are provided with a room, electric massage table, sheets, oil, and a laundering service. Therapists will also have access to RecSports marketing channels and materials for promotional opportunities. Therapists are provided access to all RecSports facilities, fields, and programs, including group fitness, weight and cardio rooms, Lake Wauburg, intramural sports, and more! |

RecSports Student Assistant - Lake Wauburg Challenge Course Facilitator

| Lake Wauburg Challenge Course Facilitators serve RecSports participants by fostering experiential teambuilding experiences for groups that are used to promote, enhance, and support the development of healthy group relationships. Facilitators lead groups through in-person team-building programs (on and off-site), and low and high ropes courses at Lake Wauburg South Shore.
Successful candidates will begin work at the start of Fall 2025.

Officials & Scorekeepers serve the department by Officiating Intramural Sports contests across one or multiple sports, enforcing RecSports policies and procedures to promote participant safety and satisfaction, and developing professional relationships with co-workers, participants, and guests.

RecSports Student Assistant - Esports intern

| The Department of Recreational Sports is currently looking for an Esports Intern to join our energetic team and move Gators towards lifelong wellbeing! The Esports Intern willl create, organize, and manage all virtual and in-person Esport events throughout the semester and closely collaborate with the Reitz Student Union. The intern will work to build community within and promote the league through email and the RecSports Esports Discord.
This position will require up to 20 hours/week and serve as a practicum/part-time intern for a Fall 2025 start.
