| The Core Research Facility Technician III is responsible for supporting the EM Scientific Research Staff in the operation of the Electron Microscopy Core laboratory at the Interdisciplinary Center for Biotechnology Research. This individual will assist the EM Scientific Research Manager by conducting transmission electron microscopy (TEM) or scanning electron microscopy (SEM), including sample preparation and instrument operation. Duties include reagent preparation, instrument set-up and calibration, and training, as well as competency evaluations for certification in instrument usage. The CRFT III may supervise daily lab use in the Lab Manager's absence. |
