Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in our multidisciplinary MDA clinic, teach neuromuscular fellows, and perform EMG and botulinum toxin injections for spasticity. The qualified applicant will have completed fellowship training in neuromuscular disorders and EMG. |

The Assistive Technology Accessibility Specialist increases accessibility, inclusion, and equity for UF students with disabilities. With a clear and thorough understanding of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), the Fair Housing Act, and University policies, the Assistive Technology Accessibility Specialist works directly with disabled students to assess barriers to access, challenges, and successes, to determine reasonable accommodations. The Assistive Technology Accessibility Specialist engages in an interactive process with DRC students and reviews medical/psychological documentation to demonstrate support of accommodations. The Assistive Technology Accessibility Specialist communicates with campus partners to ensure academic accommodations are provided. The Assistive Technology Accessibility Specialist described works in the Disability Resource Center in the Division of Student Affairs.
