| The Office of Strategic Communications & Marketing (SCM) is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist. This position will report to the Director of Marketing & Web Strategy. SCM is the central communications and marketing office at the University of Florida. The team works to protect UF’s reputation, uphold the brand, and tell the university’s story. The office also leads crisis communications efforts.
Key responsibilities:
- Determine measurement and tracking plans for websites and digital marketing campaigns managed by SCM
- Produce analytics reports for websites and digital campaigns, and provide actionable insights and - recommendations
- Set up and monitor digital ads (i.e. native, display, social)
- Update website content
- Assist with managing web projects
- Collaborate with writers to ensure page content is optimized for search engines and LLMs
- Monitor rankings and optimization opportunities
- Implement SEO best practices for off-page optimization

| The Neuro-Technology Laboratory of the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases invites applications for a highly motivated OPS Medical Scientist to join our team focused on innovative research in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for the treatment of neurological diseases, including Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, Tourette syndrome, and other disorders. This position is part of a close-knit team of world experts in the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at the University of Florida. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty and other team members to develop novel therapies for patients with neurological and psychiatric disorders.
The OPS Medical Scientist will perform work central to the development of data analysis pipelines, supporting data analysis quality assurance, and troubleshooting. This team member will also assist in projects that relate to our ongoing cutting-edge research directions, including finite element modeling, positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MRI), magnetic resonance (MR) diffusion imaging, computed tomography (CT), and data visualization tools for neuroimaging. The individual will be expected to interact with other teams to facilitate program activities and to meet deadlines or resolve technical problems both independently and collaboratively. The OPS Medical Scientist will be expected to interact with students who work on relevant projects in data analysis methods.
The successful candidate must have strong technical skills with a background in medical imaging data analysis and excellent written and oral communication skills. The individual will work on the maintenance and execution of standard data analysis packages and on the development of unique data analysis and data visualization pipelines. This position requires creativity and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. |
