Duties will include research and teaching relating to forest hydrology. Research duties include developing a collaborative, internationally recognized, and externally funded research program. The program will focus on understanding and predicting forest management influences on water quality and quantity across scales including private and publicly owned forest lands in the southeastern US and beyond, with an emphasis on the interface between water resources (e.g., streams, wetlands, aquifers, springs) and land management decision-making.

Duties will include performing research and engineer aquaculture systems for the production of Diadema antillarum, nearshore hardbottom sponges, and stony corals.
