| The Student Health Care Center (SHCC) at the University of Florida is seeking two Clinical Service Representative II (Revenue Cycle Specialist) positions. Reporting to the Coding and Reimbursement Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the billing and reimbursement process while helping students access and understand healthcare services. Your responsibilities include researching and reprocessing denied claims, monitoring claims through the reimbursement process, following up on outstanding claims, and reconciling EPIC patient accounts with UF Bursar accounts. You’ll also investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments; submit appeals and supporting documentation; communicate with insurance carriers; and maintain accurate billing records. In addition, you’ll assist patients with billing questions, payment processing, balance inquiries, insurance verification, authorizations, and financial counseling. You’ll collaborate with providers and staff to support accurate charge capture and reimbursement, post insurance and patient payments, apply coding and billing rules, maximize collections, and facilitate efficient financial processes that enable and expedite the billing and collection of professional services. This role also includes answering phones, disseminating agency information, directing inquiries to the appropriate individuals, and delivering excellent patient-centered service to a diverse population of students, medical providers, and other individuals.
