| Healthy Families is a nationally accredited, statewide program that is proven to prevent child abuse and neglect before it ever begins. Healthy Families was written into Florida Statute 409.153 in 1998 for the purpose of identifying, funding, supporting, and evaluating programs and community initiatives to improve the development and life outcomes of children and to preserve and strengthen families with a primary emphasis on prevention. Healthy Families provides community-based home visitation services focused on promoting child health and development and positive parent-child interaction. These services include both Parent Education & Support and Mental Health Counseling to participants who are suffering from Postpartum Depression or other Mental Health Issues. Families join the program prenatally or soon after the birth of the baby and can last three to five years, depending upon the needs of the family. |

The University of Florida School of Music seeks a highly qualified individual to fulfill the position of Director of Bands and Director of the Wind Symphony. We seek an inspiring and visionary leader to uphold and elevate the excellence of a distinguished collegiate band program that serves students across a range of academic and musical stages. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of wind band traditions, a commitment to creative programming, and a keen awareness of contemporary developments in the field, including stylistically diverse repertoire. The appointment will be at the rank of Associate or Full Professor, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Duties include programming, rehearsing and performing a fall and spring-semester series of wind symphony concerts annually, overseeing all operations of the band area, coordinating band personnel in collaboration with performance-area faculty, teaching courses in wind conducting and other related subjects, recruiting talented students at the graduate and undergraduate level, collaborating with other departments, and actively engaging in the cultural life at the University of Florida and the broader Gainesville community. Additional duties include committee service as appropriate. |

| The Genetics of Auditory and visual Perception and Plasticity (GAPP) Lab in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences, led by Dr. Tracy Centanni, is seeking a postdoctoral associate to contribute to a DoD-funded study. Broadly, the GAPP lab focuses specifically on auditory and visual perception in the brain, genetic variants that influence communication and associated disorders, and neural plasticity during learning and non-invasive neuromodulation.
The postdoctoral researcher will study the influence of non-invasive vagus nerve stimulation on neural responses to speech sounds using high-density electroencephalography (EEG). The candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with a research team to collect and analyze data, mentor junior lab members, prepare manuscripts for publication, and participate at national and international level meetings.

This is a full-time, renewable, nine-month, non-tenure accruing position.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to a robust program in Foreign Languages and Literatures by performing the following duties: 1) teach three (3) undergraduate language classes per semester at the beginning and intermediate levels (other language levels if necessary); 2) contribute to the development and growth of the Russian Studies program, including through language-related extracurricular activities, study abroad, and potential online course development; and 3) provide service to the Russian Studies program, the department, and the university.
