| The University of Florida College of Medicine as part of UF Health, invites applications for a full-time tenure or non-tenure track faculty position to serve as a key member of the UF Health Aortic Disease Center team at an exciting time of growth and innovation for the college. This position is an excellent opportunity for a physician scientist passionate about advancing the field of aortic genetics research and treatment while also playing a powerful role in all aspects of this program including the identification of previously unrecognized genetic variants. This position will focus primarily on patients with aortic conditions including heritable aortic disease, connective tissue disorders such as Marfan Syndrome, Loeys-Dietz Syndrome, and Vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, as well as other genetic variants.
The UF Health Aortic Disease Center combines leading-edge science with compassionate and personalized care by providing evidence-based, comprehensive care to patients with aortic disease using a multidisciplinary approach which includes cardiovascular surgery, vascular surgery, cardiology, anesthesia, interventional radiology, genetics and nursing.

Our Division currently consists of one faculty member, an advanced practice registered nurse, an RN educator, a social worker, and a dietitian The Division of Pediatric Nephrology works in close collaboration with the University of Florida Division of Pediatric Rheumatology the Division of Pediatric Urology at Nemours Children’s Specialty Services, and the pediatric renal transplant program at UF Health Gainesville. The division provides a complete range of inpatient and outpatient pediatric nephrology services, including management of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, inpatient and outpatient plasmapheresis services, and renal replacement therapy (continuous renal replacement therapy, peritoneal dialysis, and hemodialysis - with and without ECMO). |
