| The Makino Laboratory is seeking a staff scientist at The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology in Jupiter, Florida, to join our laboratory in doing high-level research. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced laboratory on various projects on translational research focused on vascular pathobiology, exosome biology, and mitochondrial physiology in coronary microvascular disease in diabetes and pulmonary vascular disease. This individual will have extensive experience in biological and laboratory sciences, who is highly motivated in our research field and has a desire to work as a team.
The Wertheim UF Scripps Institute advances human health through biomedical research, drug discovery and clinical studies, while providing outstanding educational opportunities to inspire and train the next generation of scientists. In addition, the Skaggs Graduate School of Chemical and Biological Sciences at Scripps Research trains the next generation of scientists on our campus through its nationally recognized Ph.D. program in biomedical sciences.
