| The Business Administration Division of the Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences at Pepperdine University invites applicants with an earned Ph.D. in Financial Economics or a related field for a tenure-track faculty position in Finance to begin August 1, 2027. Applicants should complete all requirements for the Ph.D. before the start date. Successful candidates should be able to teach undergraduate courses in Corporate Finance, Investments, and Personal Finance. Prior teaching experience is preferable, but not required.
The business program at Seaver College is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). US News and World Report ranks Pepperdine University among the top colleges and universities in the country, and we have a Research 2 designation. We have approximately 975 undergraduate students in the Business Administration Division. Despite a large number of majors, our classes are small (rarely more than 30 students) and our faculty is collegial and collaborative. The division offers Bachelor of Science degree programs in accounting, business administration, finance, and international business and several minors. Degree programs are offered on a full-time, residential basis at the main campus in Malibu, California. |

| The Communication Division of the Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences at Pepperdine University invites applications for a Tenure-Track faculty position in Sport Administration to begin August 1, 2027. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in Sport Management, Sport Administration, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education by the August 1, 2027, date of appointment. The successful candidate will teach courses at the undergraduate level in Sport Administration, including: Sport Event and Facility Management, Sport Finance, Sport Analytics, and other required courses as needed. In these courses, the successful candidate will blend theory with practice, preparing students to successfully enter professions in the sport industry upon graduation. We seek a professor who can excite students with real-world examples, timely case studies, and innovative learning experiences that enable students to apply theory to relevant problems. |
