| The Director of Marketing & Events will provide comprehensive oversight of all athletics
marketing initiatives, fan experience strategies, and event operations, while directly managing
student groups that include the Pepperdine Spirit program, RipTide Fan group and Willie the
Wave mascot program. Reporting to the Assistant Athletics Director - Marketing &
Communications, the Director will serve as a key member of the department's external
operations team.
The Director is responsible for driving fan engagement, increasing brand visibility, enhancing
game day experiences, and leading marketing campaigns that support revenue generation,
ticket sales, and student attendance. This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of
marketing and promotional efforts, serve as the producer for home athletic events, and
collaborate closely with external units and campus partners. |

| The Communication Division of the Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences at Pepperdine University invites applications for a Tenure-Track faculty position in Sport Administration to begin August 1, 2027. Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in Sport Management, Sport Administration, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education by the August 1, 2027, date of appointment. The successful candidate will teach courses at the undergraduate level in Sport Administration, including: Sport Event and Facility Management, Sport Finance, Sport Analytics, and other required courses as needed. In these courses, the successful candidate will blend theory with practice, preparing students to successfully enter professions in the sport industry upon graduation. We seek a professor who can excite students with real-world examples, timely case studies, and innovative learning experiences that enable students to apply theory to relevant problems. |

Supervises Custodial Services personnel and oversees relevant cleaning, pest control, waste management, and event support processes during the hours of 3:30 pm - 12:30 am. |
