Reporting to the Assistant Director of Corporate Relations, the Partnerships Manager contributes to the operational effectiveness of the department in pursuit of non-tuition revenue sources to supplement traditional student tuition, Alumni giving, and Advancement revenue. The manager is responsible for relationship management and communication with both internal and external stakeholders in pursuit of university partnership & sponsorship revenue goals.
The Partnerships Manager acts as a key liaison between the Pepperdine partner community and the university, ensuring effective representation and alignment with campus needs. This role will also be responsible for enhancing the engagement and impact of each partnership and supporting various departmental sponsorship programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing; sponsorship management is preferred. |

The Program Manager exists primarily to provide administrative, programmatic, and clerical support to the Director and Associate Director of Student Convocation in delivering the Chapel program at Pepperdine University. This includes planning and organizing the Core Chapels, overseeing the Connection Chapels, coordinating efforts with RISE and other campus partners, and providing spiritual leadership for the first and second year students.
This person serves as a Christian role model and is an active member of a local church.

Reporting to the Director, the Coordinator for Outdoor Recreation will oversee daily operations, develop and lead outdoor trips, clinics, and classes—including backpacking, rock climbing, skiing, kayaking, camping, and hiking—while managing logistics, equipment, and trip preparation. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in environments that may include occasional ambiguity. This position also calls for strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly, consistently, and effectively across a wide range of campus departments. The Coordinator will also assist in developing policies, evaluating performance, fostering team development, and promoting programs across campus and through various marketing channels. |

Pepperdine University’s Seaver College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences invites applications for a research position as Postdoctoral Fellow in Plant Biology. This position is contingent on receipt of funding from the National Science Foundation. The preferred start date is May 2025 but can be flexible. Applicants should have earned a PhD in plant biology, ecology, or related field.
We seek an outstanding researcher with expertise in plant anatomy or plant physiological ecology to work on an NSF-funded project broadly aimed at assessing anatomical and physiological traits in terrestrial and epiphytic resurrection ferns.
Key responsibilities include working with the principal investigator and undergraduate students in conducting fieldwork and benchwork, analyzing data, authoring manuscripts for publication, and teaching 1-2 lab sections per semester.
