Post-Award Grant’s Specialist New York
The Senior Post-Award Grant Specialist will provide timely, high-quality, and coordinated research post-grant award administrative services to TC faculty in the assigned department(s) for both the Math Science Technology (MST) and Human Development (HD). The person will manage a diverse portfolio that includes federal research grants, contracts, and foundation grants. This position reports both to the Director of Sponsored Programs and daily operational supervisor, the Post Award Grants Manager Responsibilities will include processing financial and accounting transactions; assuring sound fiscal oversight and financial compliance; serving as representative/liaison between faculty/researchers, department administrators, and sponsors; providing direct support and guidance to faculty in the financial administration of grants and contracts; creating detailed monthly financial reports for analysis and projection of expenditures.

As part of the SPA-NOLA Program, the AD is responsible for the overall integrity and administrative management of the program implementation. In addition, the Assistant Director will be responsible for designing and delivering high caliber professional development sessions for district and building leaders nationally and internationally; publishing simulated case studies, research articles, and conference presentations; leveraging personal and professional school district and building leader networks for SPA-NOLA strategic partnerships and recruitment; supervising graduate student researchers, SPA-NOLA partners and consulting facilitators of SPA-NOLA programming; manage information/database and budget; coordinate programs, recruitment, and reporting; strategic planning & Advisory Board management; and support research, case design, multimedia simulation platform. The position serves as a key resource to faculty, staff, prospective and current students, and to external agencies and constituents. This position reports to the SPA-NOLA Director.

The Department of Organization & Leadership is seeking a full-time Program Manager to provide managerial support to the programs in Adult Learning & Leadership and Higher & Postsecondary Education. In collaboration with the Program Directors, program faculty, and Department and program staff, the Program Manager will manage and administer the academic, financial, personnel and other administrative functions of these programs. Academic: Support faculty management of Masters and Doctoral programs delivered in a variety of in-person or online formats— “standard” academic schedule and alternate format classes (including executive cohorts). Proactively initiate, bring to faculty attention, implement, and monitor matters related to academic program, and administrative milestones. Assist in the development, implementation and enforcement of program policies and procedures. Work with Directors of degrees or specializations. Communicate as needed with adjunct faculty, students, and administrative staff within the Department and across the College to identify and solve problems related to smooth running of the programs. Financial: Initiate adjunct and student hiring and reappointments using various HR platforms, make sure HR paperwork is in order, and all potential hires are in compliance. Manage annual budget preparation and administration for projects and the programs, as well as end-of-FY closings; prepare materials for project and program budget planning, management, reporting, and analysis; consult with program faculty, Principal Investigators of grants and contracts, and staff on needs and limitations. Monitor ongoing project and program budgets to achieve expense targets and track variances. Manage and monitor endowed, fellowship and scholarship budgets. Personnel: In conjunction with program faculty, organize and coordinate logistics for faculty searches and adjunct promotions. Supervise secretaries and work-study students.
