Head of Technical Services and Metadata Librarian	New York
The Head of Technical Services and Metadata Librarian leads our technical services team, whose work includes acquisitions, interlibrary loans, and course reserves while managing and providing strategic direction for electronic resources, cataloging, and metadata practices for the library's physical and digital collections. The incumbent will work collaboratively with staff in and outside the Library to optimize access to and discovery of scholarly content, purchased, licensed, and open, to meet the needs of Teachers College, Columbia University members, and also advise on long-term strategies for metadata schema with relevance to the preservation of scholarship.
Senior Research Assistant	New York
CCRC is seeking two part-time Senior Research Assistants to support two quantitative research projects in the college-to-work transition and adult English Learners program areas. Both projects aim to identify individual and institutional factors that predict who will experience successful academic and employment outcomes. As part of the CUNY Policy Lab, the college-to-work transition project will examine different set of factors that predict a successful transition out of college, including grade point averages, the number of failed/withdrawn courses, attaining a specific grade in foundational math or English courses, switching majors, earning work-based learning credits, enrollment intensity over time (full-time versus part-time status), whether the student successfully completed all courses in the last term of study (a potential flag for planned versus unplanned exits), and so on. The Adult English learners project explores the educational experiences and outcomes of adult English learner (EL) students in the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC) and will examine the outcomes of adult education English as a Second Language (ESL) enrollees and investigate the barriers students face navigating long ESL course sequences and complicated performance requirements. This program area is understudied, mainly due to adult English learner (EL) students frequently enrolling in noncredit programs, despite their ambitions for obtaining a college credential or improving their status in the workforce.

The Summer Principals Academy - New Orleans seeks an experienced Program Assistant to provide advanced level support to the SPA faculty and administration team. The Program Assistant works as part of a highly collaborative team and juggles multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate has experience in research, data collection and entry, and possesses administrative and communication skills.
Induction Mentor, NTI@TC (Part-time)	New York
The Teacher Opportunity Corps II Program at Teachers College is managed by TC’s Office of Teacher Education and is designed to affirm, support, and sustain aspiring teachers from backgrounds that are currently under-represented in the New York State teaching force. Each year, we support a cohort of twenty TC TOC students with tuition assistance, internship experience in NYC DOE schools, seminars with top TC faculty, professional development opportunities, and opportunities for rich peer support. For the 2023-2024 academic year, TOC graduates will receive induction support during their first year of teaching. As part of the TOC Induction Program, TOC graduates will receive one-on-one mentorship that is tailored to their needs and their teaching context. Our induction team seeks experienced mentors who are interested in enthusiastically supporting the growth and development of new New York City teachers. As a member of our team, you will work with individually assigned mentees, who, as new teachers, have a variety of needs and are working to grow their practice in different ways.
