We are looking for an individual who have the passion and drive to lead the HR Talent Outreach and Employer Branding Team. You will drive the outreach and employer branding efforts to position DSTA as an employer of choice that offers an exciting and meaningful career proposition to those who are passionate about advancing defence technology for Singapore. As Deputy Director (Talent Outreach & Employer Branding), you will be required to:

  • Develop and drive the brand identity and manage the DSTA outreach programmes
  • Lead the strategic development, planning and delivery of impactful outreach programmes and ensure the smooth end-to-end implementation of programmes, leveraging on internal support and driving collaboration
  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences and develop engagement plans and communication messages with specific objectives across different channels and platforms.
  • Oversee the management of the DSTA Internship Programme and ensure its smooth execution and contribution towards the DSTA employer brand
  • Establish partnerships with secondary and tertiary education institutions to promote scholarships, internships and career opportunities in DSTA
  • Keep abreast of the developments in the education, scholarship and careers landscape and constantly review the outreach programmes to ensure their relevancy and attractiveness.



  • 8  to 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in managerial position, preferably in the technology industry
  • Strong leader who develops and inspires teams to achieve the desired outcome that is aligned with the organization and its mission and values
  • Forward planner, adaptable, meticulous and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Good knowledge of branding and digital marketing strategies with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written
