You will be part of the Communications Directorate which undertakes communication and international relations activities to strengthen and maintain the positive public perception towards the State Courts.  You will be involved in the following work areas:

 

Job responsibilities

 International Relations

·         Manage State Courts’ international engagements with foreign counterparts and international organisations, and liaising with other Singapore government agencies on issues relating to judicial and court administration

·         Assist in planning of international meetings and conferences for the State Courts

·         Manage corporate visits to State Courts from overseas visitors, including the assessment and recommendations, preparation of supporting research and State Courts’ positions, and follow-up

·         Assist management to forge strategic collaboration and partnerships with other foreign judiciaries, and enhancing State Courts’ standing at various international platforms

·         Scanning and analysing international developments in the judicial arena and assist to develop recommendations to further State Courts’ international standing

 

Communications

·         Manage internal and external corporate communications

·         Plan and manage corporate communications projects

·         Assist with the conceptualisation and production of corporate collateral (e.g. annual report, educational brochures, videos, etc.)

·         Assist to develop and write articles for State Courts publications such as newsletters and annual reports

·         Assist to coordinate and manage the publications

·         Assist to develop and implement media communications plans, including crafting media replies and pitching stories to the media

 

Work competencies and experience

·         With at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the fields of International Relations and/or Corporate Communications, with relevant credentials in either or both these fields

·         Strong writing and communication skills

·         Sharp analytical, management and administrative skills

·         Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact well with internal and external stakeholders

·         Highly driven, able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment

·         Capable of working across all levels within the organisation

 

Note:

The successful candidate will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
