The Central Provident Fund (CPF) is a social security savings scheme jointly supported by employees, employers and the Government. Its basic purpose is to help CPF members meet primary needs like shelter, food, clothing and health services in their old age or when they are no longer able to work. Benefits offered are to help meet one or more needs of the CPF Member in his retirement. They include withdrawals by the Member for retirement, permanent disablement, home ownership and health care. The amounts available depend on how much the Member has saved in the CPF.

The CPF Board are trustees for the CPF savings of Members. We aim to provide CPF Members, in a cost-effective manner, the widest range of quality services possible. We seek also to help employers pay CPF contributions promptly and correctly in as efficient and convenient a way as possible. Where we can, we make our assets and services available to help meet Singapore's social and economic objectives, thereby improving the quality of life of all Singaporeans and CPF Members.

Information Technology
IT systems form the backbone of our operations. We are looking for individuals with passion and IT expertise, to help us improve the delivery of our systems and services.  The Board’s IT systems support a high daily volume of financial transactions for CPF members. In addition to keeping the lights on, the Board also keeps pace with the external environment through innovation in its IT systems.
Visual Designer
As a member of the Digital Services Department , this job holder will be responsible for creating pixel-perfect appealing, modern and usable designs. The job holder should be passionate about designing elegant, simple visual artefacts that surprise and delight customers and creating digital and non-digital services that are not only amazing to look at, but also intuitive and useful to customers. Empathetic to user values and needs, and the ability to effectively communicate design concepts will be crucial.
  • Collaborate with UX researchers/designers design best in class, modern digital interfaces and non-digital collaterals that enable the best experience for our customers and advance strategic business initiatives
  • Deliver insights about people and behaviour through visual storytelling that generates empathy, emotion, and engagement
  • Produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes.
  • Create flexible, coherent design systems, style guides and component libraries
  • Partner with developers to ensure digital designs are implemented correctly
  • Degree in Visual Design, Product Design or related field
  • Relevant working and conceptual knowledge of cross platform design -all digital and non-digital touch points within the service experience is a bonus
  • Experience designing, building, maintaining and implementing pixel-perfect design systems
  • A command of visual and communication design principles including typography, grid systems with experience applying this knowledge to digital experiences
  • Highly skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript a plus
Seniority of appointment will commensurate with relevant work experience.
