You will be joining a team of Digital Workplace Specialists taking a key role in Corporate IT.  As part of the team, you will carry out the digitalisation plan focusing on bringing maximum value out of productivity and collaboration tools, mobile app and IT systems for the organisation. 

You will understand, articulate and implement best practices within the area of Digital Workplace and provide guidance on how the tools can address specific needs. 

By working closely with users, you will identify relevant and appropriate enterprise digital solutions for the workplace, spearhead review of business processes and inter-dependencies, and proactively identify opportunities for streamlining operations and performance in a digital environment.  You will also implement work process automation to increase productivity and reduce cost through technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence and data analytics.  You will be responsible to lead and plan for the adoption of automation such as Robotics Process Automation, GovTech Digital Workplace Tools and other types of automation or emerging technologies.

Working with IT contractors, you will maintain and integrate IT systems, handle audit queries, and ensure audit and security compliance are met.  You must be familiar with IT management policy as well as security guidelines to ensure that the development processes, procedures and systems are designed in compliance to these policies and guidelines.


To meet the challenges of this role, you must possess the following:

  • Degree in computer science/computer engineering or equivalent or at least 5 years of experience in full-stack software development, vendor management, systems support / maintenance and Automation tools eg RPA or workflow 
  • Advantageous to have certification in the following area:
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP, CITPM, COMIT or PMI
  • RPA certifications preferably on Kryon or UI Path
  • Familiar in areas within the field of digital workplace, mobility, customer/user experience, IT project management, agile development, IT procurement and Government Instruction Manual on IT Management (IM8)
  • Working knowledge in some of the following technologies:
  • IT technologies, UX Design and Design Thinking methodologies
  • .NET framework, ASP.NET, C#, Microsoft SharePoint and MS SQL database
  • Web Service/API/Microservices
  • Native app development in iOS and Android
  • Document management software such as Documentum and Third Sight
  • Business process management or workflow management software
  • Data interfaces between multiple systems
  • While a strong technical background is important, applicants with experience in ERP delivery and maintenance are preferred
