NCSS is a statutory board and an umbrella body for some 450 member social service organisations in Singapore. Our mission is to provide leadership and direction in enhancing the capabilities and capacity of our members, advocating for social service needs and strengthening strategic partnerships for an effective social service ecosystem. Since 1992, NCSS has taken over the functions of the former Singapore Council of Social Service (SCSS) and Community Chest of Singapore.

Job Summary:

Stimulate integrated planning across all potential touch points involved in branding and communications, working in tandem with internal teams, creative agency, media planner to develop creative concepts to build Community Chest's brand, including SHARE and Sharity, ensuring that communication initiatives are developed and executed at a tactical and strategic level.

Key Responsibilites:

1) Develop and implement integrated brand strategy consisting of brand policies, guidelines, marketing communications, visibility and ground activation plans

2) Manage campaign tender, plan and monitor annual publicity budget

3) Liaise with media owners on media planning & track media effectiveness

4) Conceptualize and implement community partnership programs

5) Lead the content crafting and execution of ComChest's marketing collaterals such as emcee's script, speech and media highlights for signature events to build the brand awareness, increase engagement and drive leads

6) Ability to conduct thorough research on sub sector-related topics and generating ideas for new content types, proofreading and editing articles before publication

7) Liaise with survey agency on development & implementation in external surveys on brand preference and donor satisfaction index

8) Any other dutiess assigned by HOD (in agreement with Group Director and Director) that are aligned to the Group's purposes

Skills & Knowledge:

1) At least 4 years of relevant work experience in brand development and marketing communications with a proven track record of working with creative team in developing creative solutions including branding, print & OOH advertisting, collateral development, and community partnership programs

2) Excellent interpersonal, communications and negotiations skills, proven ability to influence decision and to develop positive relationships both internally and externally

3) Experience in dealing with local media both online and print, and managing external resources such as printing suppliers, fabricators, contractors and material suppliers in meeting budget and conduct value engineering when necessary

4) Attention to details with good communications skills in both written and oral

5) Strong writing abilities and presentation skills with proven ability in writing copy

6) Knowledge of social service an added advantage

2) Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to meet defined objectives.
