We aim to empower residents in Singapore to attain optimal health, increase the quality and years of healthy life, and prevent illnesses, disability and premature death.

To achieve this, HPB drives national health promotion and disease prevention programmes, spearheads health education initiatives and creates a supportive environment in Singapore where healthy lifestyle options are available and accessible for healthy living every day.

Overview of Department
The Digital / Healthy Lifestyle Marketing Departments spearhead the strategic planning, development and implementation of digital marketing and media strategies of HPB’s flagship campaigns in two priority areas: Food Strategy and Physical Activity. By working closely with Programme and Outreach Divisions, we aim to strengthen the health practices and increase the uptake of healthy behaviours among Singaporeans, in line with the Board’s vision of building a nation of healthy people.
 
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of digital marketing and media strategies as part of integrated marketing campaigns to promote healthy lifestyle amongst Singaporeans. Specifically, the responsibilities will include:
  • Managing stakeholders to drive alignment and collaboration in formulating marketing strategies for healthy lifestyle programmes based on data and insights to contribute to KPIs;
  • Planning and implementing go-to-market strategies including digital marketing campaigns leading to achievement of desired outcomes and targets;
  • Overseeing social media strategy and execution on various social networking platforms;
  • Tracking, analysing and reporting key metrics such as website traffic, digital key performance indicators, marketing effectiveness and ROI;
  • Optimising user experience and resonance of marketing initiatives among target audiences;
  • Planning, monitoring and managing campaign budgets and manpower resources to ensure cost effectiveness and achievement of campaign deliverables; and 
  • Keeping abreast of new web and social media technologies and digital marketing trends, applying them to marketing campaigns and sharing with team members.
Challenges
Some of the challenges include:
  • Developing best-in-class campaigns to market HPB’s initiatives and achieve corporate objectives.
  • Ensuring effective outreach (both digital and offline) to the different target audience segments for the various campaigns and programmes.
  • Managing stakeholders, agencies and vendors in the in delivery of quality output that meets agreed objectives and expectations.
  • Ensuring marketing investments are optimally deployed to drive improving ROI trends.
 
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a highly driven and experienced marketer with a flair for creativity. He/she should possess:
  • Relevant qualification in Consumer Marketing or Communications;
  • 5 or more years of Marketing experience with at least 2 years in Digital Marketing;
  • Prior experience in a digital creative agency would be advantageous;
  • Use insights to shape messaging, analytical and results/KPI-driven;
  • Strong in project management and budget planning;
  • Excellent grasp of social media and digital analytics;
  • Good communications and inter-personal skills; and
  • Team player with high collaborative ability, able to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced matrix environment.
