Job Scope/ Key deliverables:

The job holder assists the Senior Assistant Director (Cybersecurity Governance) by coordinating the cyber security governance, risk management and compliance of ICT systems across the entire Home Team against relevant WOG (Whole-Of-Government) and MHA policies. The job holder will also participate in deliberations on cyber security governance and compliance matters on IM8 and WOG policies with external stakeholders including SNDGO and GovTech. The job holder will be required to:

  • Coordinate with Home Team Departments (HTDs) and Science & Technology (S&T) Agency to ensure timely reporting of all governance matters (e.g. IM8 & MHA policies) including periodic updates as well as ad hoc requests from various authorities
  • Perform risk assessment on issues, especially in cases of non-compliance or deviation
  • Coordinate with HTDs and S&T Agency to provide proactive updates on compliance and health status to MHA senior management
  • Provide support to management for updating senior management in strategic WOG/MHA platforms
  • Coordinate with other stakeholders to support to Ministry Chief Information Security Officer in discussion with SNDGO and GovTech at staff-level platforms

 

Job Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering in a relevant field (e.g. Cybersecurity, Computer Science)
  • At least 1 year in a cybersecurity role (governance role preferred)
  • At least 2 years of working experience in a related domain
  • Familiarity with WOG policies (preferred)

 

Personal Characteristics & Behaviour:

  • Able to work independently as well as a good team player
  • Good interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
  • Able to work within tight deadlines

All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
