The Digital Transformation Office (DTO) is responsible for leading the digital transformation efforts to transform Energy Sector User Experience and support Energy Market Authority (EMA) in transforming into an efficient, future-ready digital organisation. We are looking for energetic and passionate technology-savvy individuals who find joy talking to people, observing and improving the way things are being done. You will be part of the DTO team where you get to study and design service journeys to improve energy sector user experience for both internal and external stakeholders.


  • Plan and conduct UX research to map out service channels and touchpoints, identify important user and data insights.
  • Conduct interviews, understand backstage activities and processes, collect and analyse data from different sources to support data-informed decision-making and prioritise changes.
  • Identify pain points and opportunities to streamline processes for both internal and external stakeholders’ journeys and drive co-creation of design solutions across business line units through ideation, creation of personas, journey maps, storyboards and prototypes.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to define success metrics and design user journeys, interaction models, wireframe and GUI visual design for web and mobile applications (native/hybrid).
  • Champion UX-UI design guidelines, build in-house capabilities, and support the development of a Design Thinking culture across the organisation.
  • Any other assigned IT project initiatives.



  • At least 2 years of hands-on working experience in performing the role of a UX designer or service designer conducting user research, interviews, ethnographic study, usability testing and/or prototyping to drive customer experience transformation and data-informed service design, with minimally 3 years of project and people-centric change management experience in influencing stakeholders and driving adoption.
  • Strong writing and effective interpersonal and communication skills in engaging diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders including senior management.
  • Professional certifications in IT / UX-UI design experience / design thinking / Interaction Design / System Design / agile methodologies and knowledge of digital services, web interface design standards and W3C standards would be a strong added advantage.


Remuneration and appointment will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
All new appointments will be offered on contract basis.
