The Central Provident Fund (CPF) is a social security savings scheme jointly supported by employees, employers and the Government. Its basic purpose is to help CPF members meet primary needs like shelter, food, clothing and health services in their old age or when they are no longer able to work. Benefits offered are to help meet one or more needs of the CPF Member in his retirement. They include withdrawals by the Member for retirement, permanent disablement, home ownership and health care. The amounts available depend on how much the Member has saved in the CPF.

The CPF Board are trustees for the CPF savings of Members. We aim to provide CPF Members, in a cost-effective manner, the widest range of quality services possible. We seek also to help employers pay CPF contributions promptly and correctly in as efficient and convenient a way as possible. Where we can, we make our assets and services available to help meet Singapore's social and economic objectives, thereby improving the quality of life of all Singaporeans and CPF Members.

Job Responsibilities

  • Write, edit or proofread copy for multiple channels and purposes, including—but not limited to—websites (including long form web articles), brochures, electronic direct mailers and social media
  • Work closely with other members of the communications team and/or officers from scheme departments to develop creative concepts and story ideas
  • Adhere to and enforce SEO best practices
  • Contribute to defining the Board’s content marketing strategy and brand voice
  • Work with the data and insights team to measure and optimise content effectiveness
  • Lead in the development and maintenance of house style guides
  • Ensure all projects are completed in a timely manner and to industry standards

Our Requirements

  • Advanced skill sets in copywriting and editing; ability to translate complex information into effective copy
  • Ability to conceptualise and frame stories
  • Deep knowledge of SEO
  • Ability to execute multiple projects concurrently and deliver on tight timelines, from concept phase through to completion
  • Well-versed in content production, especially for digital channels
  • Good command of a second language will be an advantage
  • Understanding of insurance and financial products will be useful
