The Education and Community Outreach (ECO) is a division in the National Heritage Board that promotes the awareness of and engagement with heritage. We strive to spark an interest in, and encourage greater exploration and ownership of Singapore’s heritage amongst Singaporeans. 

As part of the Education team, you will play a role in developing strategies and programmes that aim to provide children of all ages, especially pre-schoolers, opportunities to discover our multicultural heritage through meaningful learning journeys to the museums and heritage institutions.

  • Be part of a team that conceptualises and implements signature heritage education programmes that caters to students from pre-schools to tertiary level
  • Plan, develop and implement heritage education programmes specific but not limited to the pre-school sector
  • Work towards meeting the needs of the schools and facilitate better learning and development outcomes for children at our museums and heritage sites
  • Work closely with relevant government agencies and industry partners on the development and implementation of the educational programmes


  • At least 3 years of experience in designing educational programmes, especially for young children. Relevant experience in educational and early childhood sector’s curriculum, policy and operations will be advantageous
  • Passion for educating and interacting with children and students
  • Dynamic, highly driven individual with strong communication and writing skills
  • Resourceful and able to work independently but also as a team
  • Due to the nature of this role, proficiency in other non-English official languages will be an added advantage
