RESPONSIBILITIES

Markers
The Markers would mark candidates’ answer scripts. They would need to understand the assessment requirements of the subject and apply mark scheme consistently in the marking.

Appointed Markers would need to attend a compulsory meeting before the start of the marking project, and other meetings as required. They are required to mark a stipulated number of scripts per day in accordance with the mark scheme, and assist in any other duties that may arise.

Period of Engagement: February 2021 to December 2021 (Actual engagement is subject to dates of the marking exercises as required)

 

Oral Examiners
The Oral Examiners would need to understand the process and marking criteria for the oral examination and apply the mark scheme consistently in the conduct of the oral examination.

Appointed Oral Examiners would need to attend a compulsory standardisation meeting before the start of the oral examination and required to test a stipulated number of candidates per day. They may be required to assist in any other duties that may arise.

Period of Engagement: July 2021 to September 2021 (Actual engagement is subject to dates of the oral examinations as required)

 

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Retired or former Education Officer from the Ministry of Education, and
  2. Previous experience in teaching Malay Language (at any levels).

Please note that the role deployment (marker and/or oral examiner) at Secondary and/or JC–Level will be determined for successful applicants.
