Responsibilities

You will be part of the team to:

  • Review and formulate relevant policies for the proper governance of National Sports Associations (NSA) and the development of the sport that the NSA governs.
  • Conduct desktop research on relevant NSA and sport policies established in other developed sporting nations.
  • Develop frameworks, and draft policies and guidelines to enhance the current standard of governance and development of sport in NSAs
  • Organise focus group sessions and talks to explain and gather feedback on policies that are being enhanced or newly introduced.

 Requirements

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.

In addition, you should possess the following;

  • Excellent oral and written communication with good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time-management and organisation skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent understanding of the sport eco-system locally and internationally
  • Experience with research work and policy drafting
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint
