The Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (Muis), also known as the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore, was established as a statutory body in 1968 when the Administration of Muslim Law Act (AMLA) came into effect. Under AMLA, Muis is to advise the President of Singapore on all matters relating to Islam in Singapore.

Muis is a statutory board under the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY). It seeks to develop a Muslim community with strong Islamic credentials that thrives in the contemporary world, and is an active partner in nation-building.   • Management and analysis of data from various sources contributing to the performance review process
  • Management of review scheduling
  • Supervision of review process (FGDs and conduct of surveys)
  • Monitor & report overall programme performance to PCICS Steering Committee and Joint PCICS Academic Committee
  • Monitor implementation of follow-up actions for identified areas for improvement
  • Recommend adoption of appropriate programme review frameworks, benchmarks & tools
  • Liaison with Consultant for Programme Review
  • Conceptualise and operationalise the review of the PCICS programme in phases beginning with academic components in 2020
  • Design appropriate data collection tools to monitor programme performance


  • Candidate should possess a tertiary education in any discipline. (preference in Islamic and/or Secular higher education)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in conducting programme reviews especially in education sector or social service sector
  • Experience in designing data collection tools and data analysis
  • Strong interest in Asatizah Development, Adult Learning, Higher Islamic Education and Developments in Socio-Religious sector
  • Well-versed in existing relevant quality assessment frameworks for education sector eg EduTrust
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to engage people at different levels
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
