NCSS is a statutory board and an umbrella body for some 450 member social service organisations in Singapore. Our mission is to provide leadership and direction in enhancing the capabilities and capacity of our members, advocating for social service needs and strengthening strategic partnerships for an effective social service ecosystem. Since 1992, NCSS has taken over the functions of the former Singapore Council of Social Service (SCSS) and Community Chest of Singapore.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

1. Supervise operations at NCSS HQ and/or SSI, which includes:
a. Providing adequate support in facilities, as well as office, training, AV and other technical equipment;
b. Assessing and mitigating workplace safety and health risks;
c. Reviewing and ensuring proper security coverage and protocols like CCTV and card access system;
d. Supporting the execution of Business Continuity Plans, in the event of crisis;
e. Liaising with landlords and management offices on matters related to building, maintenance, safety and car-parking, etc.
2. Support the Chief Records Officer via:
a. Maintenance of the physical and digital files and records in NCSS;
b. Digitisation of physical documents for easy access and retrieval by staff.
3. Procure for services and manage projects, including contract and vendor management.
4. Any other matters as assigned by the HOD (Administration)

Skills & Knowledge:
Good technical knowledge of building and facilities matters, and experience in Government procurement and project management preferred.



At least 5 years of relevant experience in facilities and project management

Analytical reasoning, and logical and systematic writing skills needed
