Job Description

The Academic Research Division contributes to the vision for our Institutes of Higher Learning in Singapore to lead in the creation of human and intellectual capital through high-quality teaching, peaks of excellence in research, innovation and enterprise, and intellectual discourse.

As a Senior Head/ Senior Manager, Academic Research (Grant Management) in the Academic Research Division, you will be administering funding schemes to support research at the Autonomous Universities.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Implementing policies and funding programmes to support the development of research in the Autonomous Universities
• Supporting the evaluation of research proposals and grant management system
• Managing a portfolio of research projects, including monitoring research deliverables and progress, as well as managing their performance
• Providing secretariat support for the Academic Research Council and other scientific advisory committees

This is an individual contributor role, with no supervisory duties. We welcome applications from both fresh graduates and applicants with experience.



• A meticulous and resourceful individual with demonstrated passion for science and research
• Abilities to work well independently as well as in teams
• Strong numeracy and quantitative analysis skills
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience in grants, research management or research would be an advantage
