Responsibilities:

  • Be a part of a team in OMU for the day-to day operations and management of office building, facilities, security, office space planning and events management in AGC
  • Oversees the entire project lifecycle from planning, execution, monitoring and completion.
  • Conducts site measurements including the drawing of office/building design plans for the scoping of requirements.
  • Arranges meetings and engage Stakeholders in determining project requirements.
  • Prepares project timeline and schedule based on the project scope.
  • Drafts requirements specifications for the calling of tender including putting up of evaluation report for award.
  • Collaborates and coordinate with project team members and stakeholders at various stages of the project.
  • Maintains proper documentation of meeting minutes and all inspection records.
  • Evaluates internal stakeholders’ request for Variation Works and ensure proper documentations and approvals are in place prior to work commencement by contractors.
  • Prepares, update and present monthly progress of works to Senior Management.
  • Seek quotations where required and review Contractor’s proposal/quotation and put up the necessary approval paper.
  • Oversees consultants’ and contractors’ work performance closely and track that all contractual deliverables are timely and in accordance to AGC’s requirements.
  • Ensure project completion on time, within budget and meeting all requirements.
  • Oversee and plan out the office space management. Good stakeholder management is required to managed different divisions when there is overlapping space constraints.
  • Mapping out various office configurations and floor plans for concurrence and carry out the necessary building and furniture works.
  • Provides support in other portfolio such as managing of Integrated Facilities Management contract and vendor, Security manpower and system contract and vendor and events management.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by the Operations Department.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Building, Projects & Facilities Management, Events Management or other equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in commercial/government buildings.
  • Possess good writing and communication skills.
  • Familiar with the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Positive mindset, meticulous, result-oriented and analytical.
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong team player and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced office environment.
  • May be required to work after office hours or weekends.

 

All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
