You will contribute to the development of the Performing Arts sector through the formulation of strategies, planning and programme implemention to support the development of the industry. This will include implementing initiatives to address the challenges arising from the Covid-19 pandemic and developing industry-level responses.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Work closely with industry stakeholders to develop strategies to strengthen the future sustainability of the performing arts sector, especially in the wake of Covid-19.
  • Tap on resources available to NAC and partners, including other government agencies, to develop policies to support industry development needs such as digitalisation and intellectual property rights.
  • Analyse data for the purposes of policy recommendations for the performing arts.
  • Contribute to grants management, including the review of NAC's grants schemes.


  • A good degree, preferably in Economics or Business studies
  • Candidates with experience in industry development, including stints involving industry development at economic agencies, are preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Experience working with large volumes of data, including data collection, analysis, and presentation, is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and able to adapt to changing contexts
  • Track record of working with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills such as empathy, persuasion, and negotiation
  • Candidates with working experience of 3 years or more will be considered for the Manager / Senior Manager position
