As an MOH officer, you will be involved in formulating and implementing policies that guide Singapore’s healthcare ecosystem. You will work alongside a team with varied skills and backgrounds, but with the common goals of (i) promoting good health and reducing illnesses; (ii) ensuring that Singaporeans have access to good and affordable healthcare; and (iii) pursuing medical excellence. Your work will have far-reaching impact on the health and lives of Singaporeans.

Responsibilities 

You will contribute towards the development, implementation and maintenance of national standards for professional training and assessments to ensure that trainees are fit for practice upon completion of training. This includes active engagement with content experts, training and/or assessment providers, regulators, and stakeholders. You will also contribute to continuous quality improvement for training programmes and assessments to ensure that standards are met and remain relevant.      

Requirements

  • Education in healthcare-related fields is preferred
  • Candidates with at least 2 years of work experience will have an advantage
  • Familiarity with the healthcare or education sector will be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, networking and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision making skills
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage work stress
  • Ability to conduct meetings and engage stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
