Responsibilities:

You will lead the Ministry’s employee engagement efforts, working closely with the senior management team to develop strategies to foster and shape a vibrant culture at the workplace.

An engaged workforce typically reflects high performance in an organisation. The job role will require the incumbent to develop sustainable engagement plans to support employees’ passion for the work they do and commitment to the organisation as well as build a strong foundation for effective organisational development and change management efforts. This include regular reviews and implementation of staff welfare and work-life initiatives.

As the team lead, you are also responsible for the staff communication channels comprising of e-platforms, as well as staff events. You will facilitate Senior Management tea sessions, organise Townhall and other events, as required.

You will also be responsible for rolling out the various Staff Engagement surveys used.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years HR experience, preferably with 2 years in a supervisory role in the public sector
  • Strong track record in internal communications
  • Deep understanding of employee engagement processes
  • Competent in verbal and written communications
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to engage a multi-generational workforce
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • IT savvy and good data analytics skills
