You will play an integral role in the LOG Registry of the Attorney-General’s Chambers. You should possess a pleasant disposition and have excellent people skills as you will be the first point of contact for customers. Your duties include, but are not limited to:-


  1. Updating Case Particulars, rostering of legal officers for consultation and overall management of our in-house system – integrated queue and management system (iQAMS); 
  2. Responding to queries made by investigating officers (IOs) on the status of investigation papers (IPs);
  3. Attend to walk in customers, which include IOs, Defence Counsels (DCs) and prosecutors from other agencies;
  4. Process inbound and outbound physical IPs and electronic IPs;
  5. Filing of internal minutes, consents and letters for duty consultation (DO) matters;
  6. Attend to DCs for Criminal Case Management System (CCMS) cases and notifying the Prosecutors of the DC’s arrival;
  7. Managing and maintaining the Crime Registry email account and responding to emails;
  8. Attend to despatch officers from other agencies to facilitate their collection of files;
  9. Liaise with IOs on the collection of IPs from AGC;
  10. Attend to external calls transferred from the AGC reception;
  11. Performing any other tasks assigned by supervisor.


You will work in a dynamic environment and must be able to discharge your areas of work, whether independently or in a team, within stipulated timelines. You should also be able to manage the IT systems which aid your work at the counter.

All new appointees will be appointed on a One-year contract in the first instance.
