Job Purpose/Job Summary (General Objectives of Job)

This position ensures successful implementation of online fundraising campaigns’ implementation as aligned with Comchest’s brand guidelines to enhance the customer’s digital giving experience and transaction.
Responsibilities include the planning and management of Community Chest’s website to increase visitor loyalty and retention. The candidate will be upkeeping a strong web presence for Community Chest and working with ICS (Info-Communication System) team on web upgrading and development services to enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

1. Able to contribute to the development of a website’s structure and able to set basic standards for both graphics and content, checking for quality before uploading components. Able to work directly with code and often update webpages to add content or tweak the layout.

2. Going beyond the technical aspects, to be able to assess user feedback, effectiveness, and traffic, even exploring marketing techniques such as newsletters and SEO to draw more users into the website. Able to evaluate website performance by checking metrics such as click-through rate, loading time and traffic volume.

3. Actively shape brand and reputation, identify and drive new opportunities in today’s rapid digital transformation landscape.

4. Collaborate with internal Digital team and external vendors to conceptualise and develop annual digital fund-raising campaigns to drive online FR and brand awareness.

5. Assist to lead website enhancement and development projects, including requirements gathering, procurement, onboarding and management of vendors.

6. Responsible for ComChest’s website management including content management system, quarterly web analytics report and web enhancement programs.

7. Plan and implement the website and requisite technology needs to support our programming and marketing needs.

8. Work closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies to execute digital projects within stipulated timeline, campaign calendar and budget allocated.

9. Key liaison personnel with NCSS’s ICS department pertaining to IT and web-related subject matters.

Behaviours Needed to Succeed

Personal Competencies:

1. Must have strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills, with a working knowledge of both web management and system administration. A drive for constant learning is helpful, since this role deals with various facets of the web, from system to content.

2. Proven ability to work well on own initiatives and demonstrate the high level of motivation required to meet the tight deadlines and thrive in challenging working environment.

3. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to meet defined objectives.

4. Project management skills and ability to manage priorities and competing demands.

Skills & Knowledge:
1. At least 5 years of relevant work experience in digital marketing

2. Proficient or knowledgeable with the following tools:
• Web programming languages (such as Javascript, marked-down language, HTML, CSS)
• Content management systems (such as Kentico, Sitecore/Sitefinity, SharePoint)
• Web analytic tools (such as Google Analytics & SEO)

3. Possess strategic and holistic thinking skills about multichannel marketing and its place within the marketing mix.

4. Result oriented, with strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset

5. Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what type of content target segments consume and to create the relevant content.


Minimum bachelor degree in disciplines related to skills and knowledge

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
