NAC’s Communications and Marketing department advocates and amplifies the value and importance of the arts through various initiatives. As a member of the team, you will work closely with the whole of Council and its parent Ministry to provide strategic counsel in the areas of marketing communications, with the objective of highlighting the Council’s role to champion the arts. You will work with departments within the Council and with external stakeholders to initiate, implement and manage marketing initiatives which are aligned with NAC’s mission, vision and strategic thrusts.



  • Design and implement holistic integrated marketing communications plans that profile NAC's programmes and initiatives in line with organisation objectives. These strategies include but are not limited to marketing, advertising and media planning.
  • Drive branding and strategic marketing for NAC, while providing strategic counsel to departments, to ensure alignment of all NAC programmes and initiatives to overall brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Manage external marketing communications agencies and consultants to support the implementation of integrated marketing communications plans, and work with media and influencers in the promotion and advocacy of NAC's key messages.
  • Stay up-to -date with emerging trends, news and technologies with regards to marketing communications, digital and social media.
  • Mentor junior team members and lead project groups



  • Skills and competencies in relevant fields of mass communications, public relations or marketing preferred
  • 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience and demonstrated success in the field of marketing communications – experience in branding or arts marketing is desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good project management and leadership abilities
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills, a good team player and has the capacity to develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
  • Knowledge in and passion for the arts a plus.
