Job Summary:

  1. Develops and executes initiatives to build on the professional capabilities of volunteer management practitioners in working with volunteers to nurture a caring society in helping the vulnerable through volunteerism under SG Cares.  
  2. Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to build and enhance social service agencies’ capacity & capabilities in their volunteer management function.

  3. Multiply volunteering activation and build conviction of volunteerism to support Social Service Sector Strategic Thrusts (4ST; NCSS’ 5-year roadmap) and SG Cares initiatives and increase mindshare through integrated marketing and communication strategies to build greater collective impact in volunteerism.

Key Responsibilities and Activities:

·         Strengthen the capabilities of volunteer management practitioners by deepening their knowledge and skills in volunteer management through learning & development opportunities, networking events and sharing of resources

·         Engage social service agencies and their volunteer management professionals continuously, promote sharing of best practices and collaboration within the volunteer management community

·         Evaluate and measure outcomes of all initiatives with data and communicate the collective impact in volunteerism and volunteer management

·         Involve in designing integrated marketing and communication strategies for projects and initiatives that will build conviction and increase mindshare and adoption.

·         Manage strategic partners and stakeholders in the volunteerism ecosystem to support 4ST and SG Cares initiatives

·         Ensure compliance of integrity in matters of people, processes, procurement and relationships (vendors/suppliers/partners etc)

·         Any other duties as assigned

Skills & Knowledge:

  4. Knowledge about social service sector (preferred)

Requirements:

Education

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields of study 

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in partnership development and marketing communications
  • Volunteering and/or non-profit experience is preferred
  • Experience in the People-Private-Public sector will be an added advantage
