| Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach. This is a full time, 10-month reporting position with benefits. Under the general direction of the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach, this coach will assist with the responsibilities of the NCAA D-III Women’s Lacrosse program in accordance and compliance with NCAA, NCAC, and Kenyon College policies and regulations. The assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach will work in conjunction with the head coach to fulfill the following responsibilities: coaching student athletes, scouting opponents, recruiting and the planning and execution of team practices, workouts, meetings and activities. Although the head coach will be primarily responsible for the organization, maintenance and implementation of the offensive and defensive game plan and installation, this assistant position will work to complement this process. Additional responsibilities will be assigned in game management, facility overview, teaching, and / or administration. It is also expected that the Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach will embrace the department mission of fostering learning and developing community with a focus on the values of citizenship, competition, resiliency, sportsmanship, and teamwork within Kenyon’s unique campus culture. The Fabrication Shop Manager will supervise open shop hours, assist with teaching demonstrations, help students and faculty with fabrication needs, and maintain equipment and consumable parts. In consultation with department faculty, the Fabrication Shop Manager will also create and implement department safety and equipment-use policies, and ensure that participants are properly trained and that the equipment is used in accordance with these policies. This position designed for those intending to pursue graduate studies in synthetic chemistry. The Fellow will contribute to all research stages – including laboratory management, research design, literature searches, conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and writing reports and papers.
