Part-Time Assistant Field Hockey Coach Gambier, OH
Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Part-Time Assistant Field Hockey Coach. This is a part-time position without benefits. Under the general direction of the Head Field Hockey Coach, this coach will assist with the responsibilities of the NCAA D-III Field Hockey program in accordance with NCAA, NCAC, and Kenyon College policies and regulations. It is also expected that the Part-Time Assistant Field Hockey Coach will embrace the department mission of fostering learning and developing community with a focus on the values of citizenship, competition, resiliency, sportsmanship, and teamwork within Kenyon’s unique campus culture. Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Mathematics (Applied Math) Gambier, OH
Kenyon College seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics  beginning July 2025.  A Ph.D. in applied mathematics or a Ph.D. in mathematics with an applied specialty is required, as well as prior teaching experience, preferably at a U.S. college or university or an equivalent institution. Within the field of applied mathematics, all areas of expertise are welcomed. The successful applicant will expand and enhance the applied mathematics offerings of the department. Our department has a strong commitment to student-centered learning; thus, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in active learning pedagogies. Postdoctoral Fellowship in Museum Practices and Scholarly Engagements Gambier, OH

The goal of this fellowship is to provide foundational experience to an emerging scholar interested in a museum career in areas of education and academic affairs, and to allow for this scholar to share their expertise in areas of contemporary art.
Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Biology (Ecology) Gambier, OH
Kenyon College invites applications for a tenure-track position in the Department of Biology starting in July 2025. We seek a broadly trained biologist with expertise in ecology at or above the community level. To complement current faculty expertise, we seek candidates whose primary research focus is on plants, invertebrates, fungi, and/or microbes. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to excellent teaching, including strong academic support, inclusive course experiences, and effective mentoring for our diverse student population. Teaching expectations are 5 courses per year, including introductory biology as well as existing (e.g., Ecology, Ecology Lab) and/or new courses at the upper level. We are especially interested in an ecologist with a strong quantitative component to their training, teaching, and/or research, as the hire will contribute one course per year to Kenyon's interdisciplinary Program in Computing (e.g., Ecological Modeling, Data Science in R, Data Visualization, Mathematical Biology etc.). Additional opportunities exist for interdisciplinary teaching and scholarship within and outside the sciences. We expect a vigorous research program that involves undergraduate students, leads to publications, and has potential to attract extramural funding.
