Kenyon College seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics beginning July 2025. A Ph.D. in applied mathematics or a Ph.D. in mathematics with an applied specialty is required, as well as prior teaching experience, preferably at a U.S. college or university or an equivalent institution. Within the field of applied mathematics, all areas of expertise are welcomed. The successful applicant will expand and enhance the applied mathematics offerings of the department. Our department has a strong commitment to student-centered learning; thus, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in active learning pedagogies. Ability and willingness to include undergraduates in research is also desirable.

Applicants must be able to work any shift, Monday thru Sunday. Starting wage is $15.50/hour with an increase to $18.15/hour after successfully completing a probationary period of 60 workdays.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Lift, carry and move materials, supplies, furniture in a safe and careful manner.
Use various hand and/or power cleaning equipment such as: dust and scrub mops, vacuum cleaners, buffer/floor polishers and carpet shampoo/extractor equipment, use of a step ladder and snow removal equipment.
Use various chemicals and cleaning products in a safe manner in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and material safety data sheets.
The ability to clean toilet fixtures and showers.
Perform various other tasks/duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to use powered cleaning equipment.
Ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and/or written instructions for work assignments.
Ability to work independently or in a group with minimal supervision.
Ability to work at heights on ladders to change bulbs and clean windows.
Ability to lift, move and transport materials, supplies and equipment up to 50lbs.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Previous custodial experience preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Nurse Practitioner in College Health. The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse-Certified Nurse Practitioner (APRN-CNP) supports Kenyon College students by providing direct medical care in alignment with the Cox Center mission: “Provide services that promote wellness and empower students.” The APRN-CNP will utilize clinical skills in health assessment, diagnosis, treatment of various health/medical conditions, and referrals to off- campus providers if the health need is beyond the Center’s scope of practice. The APRN-CNP will operate within the limitations of the Ohio Board of Nursing and College policies. This position will assist with health and wellness promotion coordinated by the Cox Center, Student Affairs Division, and/or other campus partners. This position is a full-time, 10-month position (August through May).
This position reports administratively and clinically to the Associate Director for Health Services; support is provided by the Senior Director of Wellness, as needed.
